4 Days in Barcelona - Intended Itinerary

Date of Travel: 22-25 Jan 2014

This is my original itinerary for Barcelona. I still think it's a good itinerary, if not for the fact that my knee gave way halfway and we couldn't venture that far anymore. My actual itinerary will come next.

Wed 22 Jan (1 x T10)
- 0955 Arrive BCN Airport
- Buy 2 sets of T10 tickets from the entrance of RENFE station
- Take RENFE train to Passeig de Gracia, walk to Hotel Europark to drop bags
- Walk to Casa Mila for photos
- Walk to lunch at La Flauta for fabulous Tapas. Order cabreados eggs, assortment of tapas platter and pam amb tomaquet, and a glass of house wine. Finish off with crema catalana. Total €33 for 2 pax - Walk to Casa Batllo for photos
- Walk to Placa de Catalunya for shopping at El Corte Ingles'
- Dinner at Cafe Alfonso
- Back to hotel for rest

Thu 23 Jan (2 x T10)
- Walk to Girona Station, take 09:06 metro for 2 stops to Trinitat Nova
- Use the same T10 ticket to take bus 116 at 09:20-09:33 (6 stops)
- Climb up to the free areas to see the city
- Walk 2.7km to La Muscleria for lunch. Order one plate of starters, like Calamares or Chipirones and a pot of muscles (El Diablo or similar) and a glass of sangria
- Walk 1.0km to Sagrada Familia
- Must queue for Tower Naixement (Nativity) before 2:30pm! 3pm is our pre-booked tower access
- Take metro from Sagrada Familia Passeig de Gracia, walk to fnac for shopping (Open till 9:30pm)
- Walk back to hotel

Fri 24 Jan (2 x T10)
- Walk to La Boqueria markets for breakfast
- Explore La Ramblas to Placa Sant Jaume
- Walk along Carrer del Bisbe, take photos of Barri Gotic
- Find Coinsa Entrepans, the best sandwiches in BCN
- Walk until you reach Cathedral Square
- Walk until Argentina Street, and you'll reach Picasso Museum
- Early dinner at El Xampanyet
- Walk to Metro Barceloneta to catch bus D20 18:06-1828
- Make it to the Magic Fountain of Montjuic for 7pm for lights show
- After the lights show, walk up the hill to the Museu Nacional Art de Catalunya, where you can get an expansive view of the city!
- Walk to catch bus 55 back to hotel (2009-2046)

Sat 25 Jan (1 x T10)
- Depart hotel at 7:00am
- Walk to Passeig de Gracia station
- Catch the 07:32-07:57 train to Aeroport
- Walk to Terminal 2C to catch the 10:55am flight to Berlin
